L\u2019EPDM est l\u2019une des membranes les plus populaires en ce qui concerne les toitures plates. Elle doit cette popularit\u00e9 \u00e0 ses propri\u00e9t\u00e9s tr\u00e8s solides.<\/p>

L'EPDM est r\u00e9sistante \u00e0 la p\u00e9n\u00e9tration des racines, aux rayons UV, \u00e0 l'ozone, au vieillissement, aux conditions climatiques extr\u00eames, aux acides et \u00e0 d'autres produits chimiques et ce, pendant plus de 50 ans<\/p>

Dans l\u2019\u00e9dition de f\u00e9vrier 2024 du magazine Roofs Belgium, un article bien document\u00e9 est consacr\u00e9 \u00e0 la valeur ajout\u00e9e durable de la toiture en EPDM.<\/em><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

La durabilit\u00e9 est plus qu'un concept \u00e0 la mode.
Il est aujourd\u2019hui n\u00e9cessaire
de s'interroger sur l'impact environnemental de nos activit\u00e9s et des mat\u00e9riaux que nous utilisons.
Comme nous, tous les membres du VESP ont fait de la durabilit\u00e9 une priorit\u00e9. Pour l'\u00e9tanch\u00e9it\u00e9 des toitures, la durabilit\u00e9 se traduit essentiellement par la long\u00e9vit\u00e9 et le respect de l'environnement.<\/strong><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

De dur\u00e9e de vie<\/strong> de l'EPDM est plus longue que celle de toute autre membrane d'\u00e9tanch\u00e9it\u00e9 de toiture : plus de 50 ans. La derni\u00e8re \u00e9tude ind\u00e9pendante du SKZ (S\u00fcddeutsche Kunststoff-Zentrum), r\u00e9alis\u00e9e pour le compte de la VESP, a m\u00eame actualis\u00e9 cette dur\u00e9e de vie \u00e0 plus de 70 ans.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tQui dit respect de l'environnement<\/em><\/b> dit \u00e9galement recyclabilit\u00e9 et circularit\u00e9, un aspect important de la durabilit\u00e9. On parle de produits circulaires lorsqu'ils sont fabriqu\u00e9s \u00e0 partir de mati\u00e8res premi\u00e8res recycl\u00e9es, de pi\u00e8ces r\u00e9utilisables ou lorsque le produit lui-m\u00eame est recyclable. En r\u00e9utilisant le plus longtemps possible et en recyclant les mat\u00e9riaux et les produits, nous r\u00e9duisons les d\u00e9chets et limitons l'impact sur l'environnement. Sylvie : \u00ab On peut non seulement r\u00e9utiliser l'EPDM dans un autre projet, mais aussi le recycler comme mati\u00e8re premi\u00e8re pour de nouvelles membranes en EPDM ou d'autres produits tels que des tapis en caoutchouc pour les aires de jeux ou des dalles de terrasse, par exemple.\n\nSylvie<\/em>: \u201cJe kan EPDM niet alleen hergebruiken\nin een ander project, maar\nook recycleren als grondstof voor\nnieuwe EPDM-membranen of andere\nproducten zoals bijvoorbeeld rubberen\nmatten voor speeltuinen of terrastegels.\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
